Lokka

During this project I contributed by doing user research to find the target group. Also, I researched a lot of potential customers by doing surveys, fly on the wall observations, interviews and doing desk research.

Lokka is an online shopping platform which aspires to increase purchases on the shop side and better user experience on the consumer side.

For Lokka I also contributed by doing cold calls to potential customers, marketing and sales strategy. Furthermore, I followed the design thinking process from empathising, defining, ideating, prototyping and iterating to have the perfect design.

Purpose

The purpose of the project was to build a community within an upcoming app. I made progress by doing usability testing with the current designs, later on started to empathize by doing desk research, interviews, surveys and creative sessions with potential users. Working in a startup made me learn how to quickly change strategy and think on my feet. Also, it made me research potential users without an existing app yet.

Community

My thesis included building a community on the Lokka. I based how to build a community on three experiments: group buying, starting a group and building trustworthiness between customers. By using A/B testing, Google Ads and user testing I could conclude my findings.
